I am a Colorado native...so native that my car has a "Pioneer" license plate…My ancestors [maternal and paternal] “established residence” or homesteaded in Colorado before 1889). I grew up in Southeastern Colorado’s Baca County; Springfield, to be exact. In 1989, I graduated from Aims Community College and the UNC in 1991 with a degree in Communication. Before this, I was a hair stylist for seventeen years. My curiosity about real estate began with my Grandfather, Warren Omega Brown, who went to business College here in Greeley in 1909. W.O. spent over sixty years in and out of many real estate related businesses, and even found time to be a State Representative for two terms and raised seven children…four of them virtually the same age (there’s a great story there which has blessed me with deep Colorado roots and pride of my family and dry-land heritage)! I get to live my dream every day by helping my clients achieve their dream of home ownership…over and over again, generation after generation! It is the greatest feeling to have been part of the process that makes someone a homeowner! My business has always been about taking care of my clients, whether buying or selling, providing as much information that I can order for them to make solid decisions. I work on a team of real estate agents who work together to serve our clients better; we are the “Clear to Close Team.” I started my real estate career as an on-site agent in metro Denver selling only new construction; now I sell mostly “previously owned’ homes, condos, patio homes, duplexes, and up to twelve-unit properties. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to help you with all you and your family's real estate needs. Sincerely, Karen Edwards, Broker Associate, GRI, CRS.
